The great landing

On March 6-7 1991, 25000 albanian refugees landed at Brindisi. It was the beginning of the albanian exodus to Italy and, at the same time, the first chapter of a story - migrations by sea - that has shaped the Mediterranean basin over the last 25 years. At first, people from Brindisi were shocked by such an influx of people, but then many of them hosted at least a refugee. This radio documentary recovers this story, a little bit forgotten.
