Pietro Bartolo e la sua isola dell’accoglienza
Through the story of Anila, a Nigerian girl and other children, Pietro Bartolo, doctor of the polyclinic in Lampedusa, who has been on the front line in helping migrants for almost thirty years, takes us beyond the deceptive "migration alarm", shows us the load of dreams, plans, hopes of migrants, their daily struggle to be able to reunite with their families, to overcome bureaucratic obstacles, to calm nightmares and torments that crowd their violated souls and bodies.
