Alessia and Elisa were twelve when they started hurting themselves. An almost unconscious gesture that slowly turns into a ritual. Their skin becomes a diary of the battle they fight against themselves. Injury to be connected to life, one step away from death. Self-harm is a growing phenomenon between adolescents and Alessia and Elisa's stories accompany us in to a possible way forward.
