In a country known for its eternal construction sites, even a land hungry for infrastructure such as Calabria finds itself wasting public money and cement. This reportage recounts two projects left on paper with an impact on citizens' lives.
From the unfinished road of the Middle Savuto, between Cosenza and Catanzaro, to the mammoth Melito dam in Gimigliano, where the promise of water, work and a tourist lake has resulted in pouring concrete at a high price and for nothing. It is a reminder of wrong choices, of social and environmental damage.
