Ethiopia is a country in continuous growth. The consumption of plastic bottles has soared. More than 20 million in 2010. By the end of 2020 there will be hundreds of million of bottles. But not having a waste recovery plan, plastic was abandoned on the street or in landfills. Now the plastic collected on the streets is sold to a first collection center, which then sells it to the larger centers where the real recycling process begins.
